PET is a fairly hard and transparent (translucent) plastic with a shiny surface. PET has a very good water and oxygen barrier and is also very break- and fall-resistant. PET is therefore widely used for bottles containing carbonated drinks. PET is highly resistant to alcohol and essential oils, and generally to a broad spectrum of chemicals. PET is not suitable for highly acidic and alkaline products. The PET raw material we use is food-grade according to European legislation.
Heat resistant up to approx. 60ºC. This depends on how long the packaging is in contact with this temperature. We recommend a maximum of hand-warm cleaning and use.
PET packaging may be frozen, although the expansion of the product you put in the bottle may cause the bottle to deform or crack open.
