Want to buy recycled plastic bottles?

Are you looking for a sustainable yet responsible choice when purchasing plastic bottles? Then recycled material bottles are definitely something for you! See under recycled for further information.

Because the bottles are recycled, you are contributing to the sustainability and optimisation of waste management. The new bottles are made from PMD waste. PMD stands for plastic packaging, metal packaging and beverage cartons. We offer the bottles in recycled PET and HDPE

Recycled bottles are not inferior in terms of quality to non-recycled bottles. The strength and fall resistance is the same. The only difference is that the HDPE and PET from previous bottles has been used to make new bottles, the R-PET and R-HDPE. The R in this name stands for recycled.

Are recycled bottles made entirely from recycled materials?

Old plastic bottles are turned into granules which are then turned into new plastic bottles. All bottles are 100% made from recycled PMD.

What types of recycled bottles are there?

We offer PET and HDPE in recycled form. Different types are available to order, for example: detergent bottles, juice bottles, dispensing bottles and soap bottles.

The juice and soap bottles are available in transparent plastic. The remaining bottles are only available in a white colour. Because there are multiple companies producing these bottles, a slight colour difference between recycled bottles cannot be completely ruled out. We strive to offer the bottles in the white shade as far as possible.

Contents

We have a wide range of recycled bottles in terms of contents. Sustainability is a high priority for us as a company. The smallest bottle is already available in 50ml and the biggest 1000ml. So, there is a suitable recycled bottle for every purpose.

What plastics can be reused?

Most plastics are theoretically recyclable. Plastics can be melted and then reshaped. However, there are some plastics that once shaped, cannot be remelted. So, these are not recyclable.

The following plastics can be recycled: PET, HDPE, PVC, PP, PS and ABS. These are all polymers that are suitable for an effective recycling process.

How does the recycling process work?

Reusing raw materials and turning them into new products is called recycling. Plastic waste is separated before being cleaned. The plastic is then pulverised. Small pieces of plastic, also called granules, are then formed.

The clean granules are remelted. It is then injected under high pressure into a mould, before being cooled and creating a kind of test tube. This is called a preform. The preform is heated and air is blown into it under high pressure, creating a new bottle. That process is known as blow moulding.
